Registration is open for The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society’s 5th Anniversary “Docs and Duffers” charity golf tournament and raffle at Bonita Bay Club Naples on October 6th. Tee-off is at 8:45am, and includes an enjoyable day of golf, awards, and a banquet luncheon.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization launched by the Medical Society in 2012. The tournament will benefit the Foundation’s scholarship programs for students pursuing degrees in healthcare, and funding for local healthcare programs in need.

“This year alone, we have awarded $36,000 in student scholarships,” said Dr. Rolando Rivera, board chair of the Foundation. “Docs & Duffers, our signature fundraiser, makes these awards possible and showcases the commitment of CCMS members and our partners to quality healthcare in our community.”

Golf registration rates are $175 per person or $650 per foursome. Goodie bags, hosted beverages, and the awards luncheon are included. A limited number of sponsorship and underwriting packages are still available starting at $550, allowing companies access to the 100-plus golfers expected to attend.

Attendees and non-attendees are also invited to participate in the tournament raffles; entrants need not be present to win. A premier raffle offers prizes of a 75-inch 4k Ultra HD TV, a 65-inch TV, and a 55-inch TV donated by Perfect Solutions; suggested donation $50 per ticket. Standard raffle tickets with a variety of prizes are also available, suggested donation is $25 per ticket or $100 for five tickets.

Interested golfers, raffle participants, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers may call (239) 435-7727 or visit www.ccmsfoundation.org for details.
